American basketball player Shaquille O'Neal and rapper Kendrick Lamar have teamed up with American Express to encourage card members to shop in small businesses this holiday season, to obtain 2x rewards.

The pair star in a promotional video where they are seen in a local LA soap shop, Soaptopia and O'Neal commented 'As a card member since 1992, American Express has been a part of my life from when I began my NBA career to today. I am excited to partner with such an internationally respected brand that has supported small businesses for more than 25 years'.
